Nautical Station renews its agreement with the municipalities

Nautical Station and the seven collaborating municipalities have renewed their annual link in the form of an Agreement. This protocol signing act was held in Madrid, coinciding with Fitur 2020, the tourist reference fair in Spain.

The event was attended by mayors and councilors from the seven towns and the president of Nautical Station, Joaquim Cristiano. In his parliament, the president appealed to the unity of all municipalities and make a common front for the recovery of the coastline of the Costa Daurada and the Terres de l'Ebre after the storms that damaged the coastline.

The document signed between the different parties, includes the rights and duties of the municipalities and Nautical Station. It also regulates the mutual collaboration as well as the economic commitment assumed by the municipalities with the Nautical Station and establishes the different control mechanisms by the attached municipalities.

In the act, the different parliaments highlighted the importance of Nautical Station to unite the collaboration links of the municipalities in the promotion and commercialization of experiences at sea, started 19 years ago.

Increase of promotional actions

Nautical Station has recently approved its budget for 2020, with an increase of 10% compared to the year 2019. In the new budget, the Action Plan for this 2020 stands out, with an increase of 18.6% in spending. This will allow to face new promotion and commercialization actions, as well as to enhance existing ones.

In this sense, the president of Nautical Station, Quim Cristiano, highlighted the confidence received by the municipalities with the upward revision of the contributions of their contributions, and thanked this commitment that will allow to do an even more good and more effective work .

One of the objectives that has been set for this year Nautical Station is the elimination of paper tickets and replace them with documents in electronic format with QR code to the mobile phones of customers, as well as the incorporation of a channel manager to manage the new marketing channels that will be incorporated in the coming weeks and that will allow to expand the points of sale.
