Domingo inaugurarán las I Jornadas gastronómicas de interior en Vandellòs

The Terres de Mestral are gastronomy, sea and mountain, and you have the opportunity to enjoy it at the 1st Gastronomic Days of Interior in Vandellòs, a party where there will be tastings, miniclotxes, performances and drawings.

With the celebration of the 1st Day of the Inner Gastronomic Days, these new days will be inaugurated next Sunday, April 2, organized by the Tourism Department of Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant. The Diada will take place in the Square Drs.Gil-Vernet de Vandellòs, from 11.30 to 13.30.

In this scenario, you can eat miniclotxes, prepared by the Vandellòs Agricultural Cooperative, and the tastings cooked by the ten restaurants that will participate in the conference, at a price of 2 euros. There will also be live performances and attendees can take part in the raffle of various products.

The Gastronomic Days, properly speaking, will take place from the 2 to the 16 of April. During these days, the ten participating restaurants (5 of which are from l'Hospitalet de l'Infant: Nautic Restaurant, Deviteca, Restaurant of Hotel Sancho, LB21 and Restaurant Le P'tit Normand, 2 of Vandellòs: Racó El Padrí and Figuerola "El Safareig", 2 from Masboquera: Casal de Masboquera and El Rebost de la Nuri and one from Pratdip: La Cuina d'en Carlos), will offer special menus at prices ranging from 9 to 35 Euros. These menus will have as main ingredients products and dishes of the earth, such as wild boar, rice, ceps, nuts, calçots, snails, artichokes, feet and cheeks of pig, etc.

With the organization of these new gastronomic days, which are added to those dedicated to tuna, which this year will be held from May 28 to June 11, the City wants to "promote consumption in the establishments of restoration of the municipality of Vandellòs i L'Hospitalet de l'Infant and encourage economic activity during these first months of the year, before the summer ", explained the Councilor for Tourism, Elida López. This is also the objective of the promotional campaign "Menja i guanya", which is currently underway. As part of this campaign, customers who consume at least 20 euros to any of the bars, restaurants or take away establishments in the municipality can participate in the prize draw. Those who do this March can win a tablet; And those who do in April, a getaway for two.
