The Festival of Vandellòs is coming

In honor of Saints Cosmas and Damian, the festival will be held Vandellòs from 22 to 25 September. The party will start on Thursday 22, at 19 h, with the ringing of bells and end on Sunday at 21:30 pm, with the fireworks display. Until then, have offered more than forty events organized by the Centre Cultural Esportiu i Recreatiu Vandellòs (CCERV) and the Department of celebrations of the City Hall of Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant, with the collaboration of various institutions and companies local.

This year, the opening speech will be given by Bonaventura Sabate Gil, director of the Valdelors school, which, as pointed out Mayor Alfonso Garcia "as a people have the opportunity to thank him for his dedication to Valdelors school for so many years and the level of involvement and commitment shown daily "

Among the quarantine proposals included in the program of the festival, highlighting the traditional events such as the XXI Clotxada Popular, exposing work of the village women, the Tribute to the "Vella Pagesia", which is dedicated this year to the crafts and children's activities and sports, completing a festival program that does not forget the solidarity aspect, as both dances bouquet and Farolillo that Friday is celebrated as the mejillonada, sardana and dance vermouth held on Saturday in the morning, they go collecting in the League against Cancer of the Province of Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre.

Moreover, the youth group will have a meeting in the courtyard Taverna, the "Meeting point" where they can take part in activities designed for them; and will feature various proposals organized by the Youth Association Vandellòs (a popular dinner, musical performances, mobile disco, tournaments, etc.)

Councillor for Fiestas, Elida Lopez; and the president of CCERV, Jordi Gil, have stressed particularly the involvement of local authorities and residents of the municipality in this celebration.
